I can't seem to compress the whole movie small enough. This is only one part of it. I didn't realize when I went to compress it that I had 2 projects open, the summary scene and the whole movie. That's why I uploaded the wrong one.
I would appreciate any feedback on the piece you can see, as it was not nominated and I thought it was a shoe-in. I must have missed the mark completely on what is good video. You would think after all these years I would have it figured out.

Educational Objective: In 50 words or less, explain the learning or teaching objective(s) for this entry.
Since the whole district in Escondido has an educational focus of comprehension, so I thought our movie should focus on the strategies students are learning in class. This will help the students creating the movie learn them and when the movie is played in class, it will help other students remember to use them, also.
Story Description: Describe your movie such that is detailed enough to create a strong mental picture of what your movie intends to portray so that Project LIVE teachers reviewing your "movie" can give you useful feedback.
There are 2 angels that appear on kids' shoulders when they are having problems understanding text. Situations include pleasure reading, reading for a research project, working together for a class project (CA missions), and fictional reading. The angels appear and tell a little poem to help the student remember which reading (comprehension) strategy to use, such as Monitor and Clarify, Questioning, etc.
Special Details: Describe special efforts you have put into any technical areas (titles, lighting, sound, angles, etc.) that will make your film look more polished.
We will be editing totally in FCP, we have used a boom mic, we are using lighting for the green screen with the angels, I always use Live Type because it is so easy and so cool. I have been really trying to remember all the possible angles and get plenty of B roll.
