This is a beginning video Public Service Announcement created by a young girl who is experiencing the conflict of whether or not to "take the right path." When I first saw it I got goosebumps as she did not let me look at it until her final edit... The way she describes her conflict really draws you in.

This video will be entered into the Teacher Made category at IVIEs this year. The process of making this video was one of the most valuable experiences I could've provided for my students. I was able to model first-hand all the steps of creating a project this large. The script alone was eight pages... Based loosely on my own story, this video is a must-see for any teacher who has just been assigned to teach video. We have a couple needed fixes...but basically this is it! Hope you enjoy!

7th grade beginning video production PSA.

This video was created by my 7th grade beginning video class. The topic is dark --- focusing on how we all have a "breaking point" when we can't take verbal abuse anymore... However, I feel the video is compelling and uses a good combination of sound and angles to convey a serious message.

This is a rough edit of the final exam from my Mission Television production crew.  I am sooo proud of this group of film makers -- they were each responsible for three small segments (23 in all...) And when the segments were put together, it created an outstanding documentary of the evolution of this program.   

This film will be showcased at an end of the year celebration (Wildcademy Awards) for parents, students, admin, etc.).

We still need final edits (a student will complete this) and music.

This PSA was produced, filmed, & edited by a student who also had never experienced video before MIssion Television.  This young lady continues to amaze me with her vision for videos... I'll assign her a segment and she has fantastic visions of where the story should go...

This PSA is on hunger... we are a few seconds over, so we'll be discussing final edits this week!!!

Once again, the music is by my 7th grade daughter Kassidy, and this song was written specifically for this video.

This is a PSA created by two MTV students.  This is their FIRST year in video, but they have emerged as very talented and ambitious young ladies.  They've both submitted (and received) transfers to Orange Glen HS because of the outstanding video program there!!!! They are planning on making one change before submission.  Will keep ya posted!

The song is an orginal piece of music written and song by my 12 year old daughter, Kassidy Shaye.  The kids love her music, so I asked her to write songs for IVIE, and she wrote one for depression, one for hunger for our exclusive use (gotta love the kid!)
