My team of videographers (now in 5th grade) wanted to create a film in the style of a video game. We plan on creating the action in the video game sequences using builds in Keynote. We will be taking still shots in front of a green screen to create characters. We might also integrate some clay characters (or clay bodies with huge realistic photo heads). Not a lot of dialogue, but a lot of cool sound effects, and good modeling of easy and long division math problems.

I love the iPod synthesizer; does the creation just sync to the iTunes library where you can get to it? My main concern here is how you are going to pull off the video game SFX, although I've seen enough of your work to know you have something creative in mind. If your guys can pull this off, it'll be a lot of fun. I like the kid wake-up as the ending.

Scott, loved the concept and the approach - very creative. The ending will be high interest. The only concern would be not to lose the focus of the project and ensure that the long division is well-modeled - if your students are like mine, they want to spend all of their time on visual and sound effects!
