A 2nd Grade teacher had each child read a page of their leveled reader, taking turns to record themselves. Afterwards they listened to the reader with different children's voices reading each page. That way they had all recorded and all got to listen. She says they thoroughly enjoyed hearing each child read, and they weren't shy because they had all participated.

This was one of their first lessons on voice recording, since they have just begun using their kit of 6 ipods in that classroom.
