Terrific! I agree with you on both the improved headroom framing and the audio, and both help sell the movie. One thing I would watch for is Jump Cuts. That's when 2 side by side clips are framed almost the same, but cut to a different moment in time. It makes the edit pretty jarring. The way around it is to first go to a different view and then on to the edit. That intermediate clip could be a very different framing (wide shot to close up to another wide shot) or some B-roll footage that creates the separation between the 2 similar clips. I'm really impressed with how deeply you and your class have delved into this project. The gift that keeps on giving.

Nice job Laura! The girls did great! Maybe frame the shot of the two girls from a step back because sometimes one of the girls is cut off. Also, when jumping to another clip of the same shot try to take it from the same distance so it doesn't look too jumpy. Sound was better than your first one. Good job!
