This is it! I have surprised myself a bit with adding transition clips. This was new for me and I did it on my own! So proud of myself for a newbie!

Nice work. I like how you were switching from wide shot to 2-shot to closeup. Variety of framing makes it interesting. Your kids communicated very well. The transitions help break up the jump cuts.

Laura, I think that it is great that you worked with the program and figured it out yourself. It will stay with you so much longer since you did that. I think it came out fine and I know how you feel about just being done. I was that way too. You could have done a million things better, but you are just starting out. Next movie you will take what you learned and put it into practice and send it off to Spielberg! :-)

Wow, great job learning transitions on your own! I loved the set and the coffee cup props - and holy smokes those girls were super cute. They must be so proud. I learned a lot about ants that I did not know!

    Hi Laura,
Cute Book Talk. Good sound and lighting. I like your “actors” and they really knew their lines…Kudos to them! I also like how you paid attention to the background and made it so colorful/exciting to look at.
A few of your jump shots are a bit quit and cut off some voices, but are fine for your first time. I would suggest putting some peppy music at a low volume (Try it at 12% or 7%). I think this will help fit your editing and give your movie an overall more polished feel. You might also think of a way to have the students "show" some things about ants and what they do. You could extract the audio and put it over the ant footage.
Overall, you are on your way.

    Laura,
Nice job. I liked how the students were set up with the books behind them. It was a nice angle which made it interesting. Music will add to this movie as well as some "B" role shots to cover up edits. Good job.
