Students wrote Pourquoi tales in teams and created a podcast of their stories. We read Pourquoi tales as a part of our grade level curriculum and checked out other books from the library. Students listened to examples of even more stories as a read-a-loud. They blogged 5 questions from nature that they could think of as their
own tale. They then wrote their own stories. Students switched papers, edited and practiced reading stories outloud to each other using expression. They then decided on a story that the team would use in a podcst and illustrated a picture to go with the story. Students were shown as a class how to do a podcast on the projector. They then went to a quiet place to do their work.
