My proposal for the first project is to use Keynote to teach 2nd grade Bilingual students to identify story elements: main characters, setting, problem, and solution. Knowing and identifying story elements will help students comprehend the stories that they are reading in Language Arts. I will have students draw a picture to go with each of these elements (either freehand on paper or on Kidpix) then will add these pics to the Keynote slides. We will write at least two sentences to got with each of these 4 story elements. Then we'll add voice recording to the slides. My template will be in Spanish. I'll submit an English version as well. I was also thinking of using Comic Life, perhaps I'll do this for the 2nd project.
