I am so proud of my second graders! They took this idea and ran with it. From brainstorming, to videoing, to editing, their learning far surpassed my expectations. The original idea was for our movie to be a PSA but it ended up being a little bit longer than that (2 minutes 22 seconds). We think our movie is better suited with 2 minutes and

the final product sends a clear message.
We were wondering what you think of the background music? The volume of the music goes up and down. Does it perhaps do that too much?
Thank you for viewing and comments are welcome! We look forward to entering this movie in the iVIE!

I think the music is exactly right for this piece and I do not think the levels bounce up and down too much. Like I've told you, I think it's a very effective metaphor and your kids did a great job illustrating it. I would consider changing the transition at the end (Always remember...) to something (dip to black?) that really makes a break from the main segment to the summary. And I'd make it longer (2 secs?). Just a thought.

We (I viewed this with my video group) completely agree with Frank. The music was great! The kids did a such a good job. They are clear and easy to understand. My girls really liked the "wrinkle" concept. There were a lot of "aahhs" :)

Me, too. Me, too! Great Metaphor, good music.
The editing could be tighter when you do the one word per actor apart. Make the sentence sound more fluent. It will be much more powerful even though each kid is on screen less.

I love your video and the music is perfect. I think the kids did a great job with acting. I love the metaphor about wrinkling. I hope you win. I will show this to my middle school class.

Wonderful video- very meaningful! Excellent audio in all areas except the jumprope scene's audio is not as easy to hear. This looks like a winner:)

I am definitely going to show this to my 4th Graders. They have been wrinkling a lot lately. Great movie with a great message. I don't really see anything you need to change. Good luck at iVie:)

Great job! What a super message presented in a neat way. Yes, the music should be a lower in some areas, so it doesn't sound like it is getting really loud. Nice job!

Fantastic!! I loved Wrinkle Girl!! I've done the same concept but it was with "Crumple Girl" - I think I'll show this video after the lesson. It sends a very clear message to kids. Great job JoAnn!!
