Our final project. We became short on time when the kids were not completing their tasks as assigned, and it shows. We attempted to use a green screen effect to have the 'gods' at Zeus' temple. Sorry the dialogue is so tough to hear. Enjoy!
This has great potential, but it looks like the kids were a little reticent to "act" it out. That's too bad, I know I loved the idea when I read the storyboard. Did you try to turn up the volume on the clips with the audio adjustment "cog" on each clip?

Thanks. I know. They were so animated until the camera started.... Yes, we did adjust the volume with the little cog. Still wasn't enough. Thanks for your comments.

Jennifer I had the same problem with some of my students of being nervous and not acting it out. I had the camera on, but didn't tell them it was recording. They seemed a lot more comfortable when they were practicing then when we were recording the actual shot. I just let the camera roll and I got better more natural fun shots. It was difficult to hear some of the student's voices. Tell your students they did a great job on their movie.

...but what great experience getting used to being in front of a crowd (or camera). I hope you realize that green screen effects this clean weren't always this easy. Thank you, iMovie '09. I liked how you added the trees to add to the illusion of depth. Neat cloud shot at the beginning. Where'd you get that?

Thanks again for the comments.... Lebrac, I will try taping them without them knowing next time. I don't know why I didn't think of it.. Frank, I don't remember where the clouds came from. Just searching for free stuff. I still have it and will definitely keep it.
