Well, for those of you who have been doing project live for awhile now, I'm sure you've been here before..... So, what actually defines "nearly complete?" The kids are no where near where we planned to be. They've discovered (or at least feel) that they don't have all the footage they want. I think they are starting to understand the process a bit more. How often do your kids do their script/storyboard and then hardly follow it? I'm really struggling to stay hands off but I did insert a title card and credits for this upload. The kids still have 2 shots to complete (at least that's their plan) and they still have transitions, voiceovers, and music to do. I'm confident they (I) will make it by the final deadline. Wish us luck! : )

While you definitely want this to be the kids work, I would say don't feel you need to be totally engaged. I think it's perfectly fine to help guide their decision making (they, of course, can always ignore you). The addition of sound will really sell this. The visuals looked pretty good. I liked the "green thumb" idea at the end.

I loved the tight shots on the food trash! Caution: I've found it very difficult to do voice over for dialogue after-the-fact, so set aside some time for multiple takes, and maybe consider recording the audio w/ the lapel mic for future projects to save yourself a headache. Good luck!

Great visual shots. I think the voice over will be challenging to synch to the video. Message still gets across without the voice over. It looks like it will be nice video at the end. Good luck with the rest of the video.

I really like how this brings the concept of pollution home for them, it's at their school with things they see/use/have on a daily basis. (I also liked the tight shots on the food trash!) I'm sure it will be fabulous when they finish up, just take a deep breath. I'm a newbie too, and I've taken several deep breaths and it always seems to work itself out.

Looks good Jen. If the voiceover doesn't work out you could always add music that's the length you want it. If you had the time the kids could sing a song about pollution:) I like the close ups of the trash. If you keep the title at the beginning you may want to change the color of the bottom word so it's easier to read. I miss working with you.

Enjoyed the video. Look forward to the version with sound. If the voiceover is too much, you may just do captions with background music. One scene shows a student throwing away trash with the face cut-off; I would either zoom out to include the face, or even better, zoom in to focus on the trash going into the trash can.
