Our final project. We became short on time when the kids were not completing their tasks as assigned, and it shows. We attempted to use a green screen effect to have the 'gods' at Zeus' temple. Sorry the dialogue is so tough to hear. Enjoy!

Well, for those of you who have been doing project live for awhile now, I'm sure you've been here before..... So, what actually defines "nearly complete?" The kids are no where near where we planned to be. They've discovered (or at least feel) that they don't have all the footage they want. I think they are starting to understand the process a bit more. How often do your kids do their script/storyboard and then hardly follow it? I'm really struggling to stay hands off but I did insert a title card and credits for this upload. The kids still have 2 shots to complete (at least that's their plan) and they still have transitions, voiceovers, and music to do. I'm confident they (I) will make it by the final deadline. Wish us luck! : )

Why learn math?

Open with a student who is listening to a math lecture and then zones out, wondering "Why do I need to learn this?"

Miss Math arrives to show the student what life is like when he learns math. This is your brain on math. We showan egg cracking and out of the egg comes a diploma, a nice car, money.

Then Miss math shows what your life is like when you’re not on math. An egg cracks,we hear tires screeching and dust comes from the egg demonstrating that without math, your life comes to a screeching halt.
