Your script looks good. Normally you would plan out what they intend to say (this would include what they read). I understand why you have it this way, but if someone else were to pick up your script, they would not be able to film it because it is missing the words the kids will actually say (read).

For the music, we have a lot of "licensed" music you can use.

I like how you delineated (and varied) the camera angles shot to shot. Are the kids going to look into the lens of the camera when they deliver their lines (so they are directly addressing the audience)? Sounds like a great project.
Not sure how much detail to include since the kids will be reading parts of actual text.
