Change of idea for First LIVE Project

Because of the time constraint of a 60-second piece, I am choosing a different idea and putting the others on the back burner:
Second Graders have to edit the long form of the date as part of the state standardized test, so I developed a short story line to practice this skill: (by the way, can you follow a colon with a statement and another colon? Just wondering!)
A student just finishes putting the long form of the date in correct order in a pocket chart and, satisfied with a job well-done, walks away. Then a little impish character sneaks up and mixes the parts of the date. The student soon returns to find his work undone and is shocked and upset. A friend arrives in the nick of time and talks the student through putting the parts of the date in correct order, from beginning to end.

Cute and clever. I think it'll work in the time frame desired. Now is the time (harp, harp, harp) of visualizing the scene in prep for storyboard and script. This would work well with the digital camera method of storyboarding we practiced at the meeting. Onward and upward!
