'Tis a sad, sad topic. But it's an interesting idea to start a dialogue among students about this topic. I wonder if they may continue this discussion among their friends. Maybe by bringing this to their attention, the students themselves could start motivating each other a little more, making the difference themselves. The idea of someone within the educational system taking measures to prevent drop-outs doesn't sound promising to me, but the idea of students looking out for and encouraging each other may make the difference.

I don't think an apology is necessary. All aspects of student life are appropriate subjects for exploring and you and your class did a wonderful job. I don't think your audio problem is as bad you thought; I thought it was pretty good. Good balance between voice and music. How did you do the overlays (loved the No. 2 pencil)? Very effective. Also I liked the use of typography.

We used Key Note. A VERY talented student of mine figured out how to use Key Note and Quick Time to create the overlays and mix the font sizes. It took a lot of very tedious steps, but she did a great job!

i didn't see it as a sad topic-but a reality check. Important for the kids and there parents to start thinking about. I love the overlay and even seeing your answer to Frank's question I can't imagine how to do it. Great Job!
