This is a topic that I will go back to time and time again. I cannot tell you how many times I have been frustrated by students not being able to learn their multiplication tables. There are a ton of apps out there that work to help students overcome this hurtle. Over the last two years I have seen more students than every learn those facts faster, and better, than ever before. I have to give credit to the iPod for this.Drill and practice is one of the most unfavorite things for students to do. The iPod has changed that. Not only have the students learned their facts better and faster this year, but it has really helped in other math tasks as well. Teaching multiples, factoring, fractions, and just about everything went much more smoothly.
