Making this movie was a great adventure. While the trial and error method of learning can be a little intimidating when you're a novice, the kids and I had a lot of fun and we did learn a lot. Thank you to Brad and Mitchell for your help and advice. I hope it's a little more clear what the purpose and who the audience is for this movie. We'll have to see. This will be the test. This is pretty close to being a final copy, baring any changes that might need to be made based on your suggestions. I wanted to add some subtle background music and make a few tweaks to some of the transitions. Your comments will be greatly appreciated. I'm taking all the advice I can get.

I love love love this movie! I love the transitions at the beginning when you are introducing examples of R-O-C-K. My only suggestion would be to add text at the bottom when everyone is singing at the assembly. How cute would it be if you could have one of those bouncing things over the text so others could sing along. But I have no idea how to do that. Having text would help us to understand the song everyone is singing. Fantastic job!

This video is really cute and I think the kids will "get it'. I like having the text when the kids say what each letter stands for, and have to agree with JoAnn that it might be helpful at the end when we can't quite make out what they are singing. Also the addition of the text towards the end when the kids are on stage going over the acronym again. Overall....an EXCELLENT job!

I think the kids and the idea are great. I love the shirts and the scenes supporting each letter. The song at the end is cute but I do not understand the words. I love your positive action R O C K. Great lesson for the kids.

Great video! The sound was great and clear up until the last song they are dancing to where it's difficult to understand the words. I love the rock star scene at the beginning. So who is your main demographic for this film, the students at your school? If you wanting to reach out to other schools you could add something at the end about how they could be a R.O.C.K. school too. It's pretty great the way it is though.

I love this video. At the beginning I don't know how hard it would be to make the white letters in ROCK yellow to match the color scheme and they might show up better. The transition towards the end where they start to sing at the assembly was a bit jumpy. I agreed with wanting to hear or see the words in the song at the end. Also, I think you need to take out the last names of students in the credits. Great movie.

This is an excellent video because it models the behavior that is expected of each student not just in the classroom, but also in the playground. Important life skills for all grade levels. I would also recommend subtitles to aid understanding of the song.

This turned out great. I know from our little work session you did some highline editing like matching visuals to sound effects and freezing a frame on just the frame you wanted. Your kids did a terrific job of selling their roles. I think the transition from the principal to the kids' final dance is too jarring with a jump cut. I would do a strong transition that'll say, "We're starting a new chapter...". Great movie.

Fantastic job, Deb. This is really an amazing effort for your first year in Project Live. The whole beginning is dynamite with the cute little scenes and transitions. Your kids are adorable, and you did such a nice job with the message of the movie. I echo Kim: get rid of the last names in the credits. Just use their first initial of their last name for privacy reasons. Other than that, you ROCK, girl!
