Chuck, this comment pertains to both the script and storyboard. A couple of the difficulties you experienced were handled in a recent email; let me know if you need more on that.

The script shows you've really thought through the process: times, locations, shot duration, etc. I like your concept and the on-screen text can be very effective. I strongly suggest browsing the chapter on text in iMovie '09 in the David Pogue book so you understand what options you have. iMovie '09 is much better than earlier versions when it comes to text. One way that's true for you is being able to change fonts/colors on a character by character basis (used to be one size for an entire text entry. Like your storyboard shows, I think keeping the text to a minimum will be important. I would consider using a voice-over for instructional words to support the on-screen text. You may come to a different conclusion, but at least consider it.

And of course you know the W. C. Fields line about never working with kids and animals. I assume you know your actors well enough to get what you need. An iMovie '09 feature of grabbing a freeze frame may come in handy. Check Pogue's book, if interested. Good luck and let the shooting begin.
