My movie doesn't seem finished, but as it's the deadline, I guess I'd better post. The students were really the creation behind the whole film. Besides developing the concept, writing the script, and creating the storyboard, they also directed, filmed and obviously acted it out. While I ran out of time to teach them all the fine points of editing, they did take their turn at playing with the soundtrack and narrative voice over. If I had more time, I would have them probably rerecord all the dialog.

Very nice! I really liked how they set up the metaphor. Guadalupe had some very cool camera angles. I liked her fade into the sky at the end. As you mentioned, editing could have tightened it up a bit, but as they say, you're never finished you just run out of time. Great project.

Great Job!!! I love the opening with the Rod Sterling stuff and the door knob. The camera work is awesome and it was fun to watch!!! Maybe more music and Twilight theme throughout?

Excellent work!! I liked the fact that you let your students do most of the work. That's the fun part watching them come up with all of these great ideas. A little more work on editing and audio and you guys will be pros.

Tell the kids they did an awesome job! That's the whole point, right? Let them take the reins and learn something. You're very brave to let them handle most of it themselves. I have second graders and that's what I'm struggling with - how much they are actually capable of....

You made a good movie and it sounds like you and your students all learned a lot. As the year progresses, the students' technical skills will grow and the time crunch...well it doesn't go away, but you will feel like you have more time to focus on creative aspects beyond basic editing. Keep up the good work!

Nice job! Your students had some great shots (close ups, angles, etc.). As they film more and watch what they've done, they'll only get better and better. There were only a few areas where the audio was an issue. You and your students did a great job.

Wow Christy! This video is great- I love the concept, very clever. I thought your students had some great camera angles and shots. Obviously, editing could be cleaned up a bit- but I understand the whole deadline thing. I really liked the "Book Camp" Idea. You did a nice job with the flow of the video. I think you are off to a great start!

Great video! Your kids had some great camera angles. Nice job. I loved it when the kid jumped out of the window and landed face first into a book - great stuntwork!
