I really liked the "MTV-style" editing; very fast paced and effective. A good part of that was because you had lots of good camera coverage to keep our eyes entertained. Very inventive animation stuff (and the green screen was effective, too). And some really good curriculum content too. Too underscore that, I would consider lowering the guitar track when they sing a bit to increase intelligibility just a bit and maybe some key LiveType words onscreen at appropriate times (igneous, etc.). Lot of work and planning in this video. Great job.

Chris, great job! My kids loved the clay volcano and remembered it from earlier in the year. The video concept is really catchy and really holds your attention. The song stays with you too! Sometimes it was a little hard to hear the text, but overall it is great way to present the subject and I know your kids will remember it always!

Rock on Oden! My kids are going to be jealous that they didn't get to do one like this. Claymation is awesome. Make sure Ron gets his wig back, and keep your feet clean.

I really enjoyed your video! The fast paced music and the students acting as rock stars is so cute! I love the song that you created, and the students seemed to really understand the concept. Great work.

sorry, that last comment was from me, not from you.... obviously! I am still trying to get the hang of this thing....

Wow. WOW! The creativity displayed in your video is dazzling. Just creating the lyrics to teach the concepts is challenging enough, but then to do such a fun mix of blue screen backdrops like Mount Rushmore and clay animation, and to give the kids such a fun, modern format, is so impressive. My constructive comment, as a teacher of fifth graders, would be this...my kids would love this video, but I'm not sure they'd be able to tell me much about igneous rocks after watching it. Interjecting either screens with the concepts presented, or having one child at the end do a voiceover rap with a final screen reviewing the concepts, might be an approach for the future. I loved this so much, Chris, and admire your incredible talent!

Amazing video! Science concepts with a catchy tune always stick better. Great video examples of igneous rocks. A scaffold for my ELLs (and myself) would be adding subtitles to aid understanding of words and concepts.
