Great chance for the students to see everything they are required to do before even beginning the project. I noticed in a couple of slides there was some small print but it went by too fast for me to read it. Also, perhaps you can add some transitions to vary up the photo show.

Carrie, I love it. If you don't mind, I would like to do something like this for my next 8th grade year. What a great visual preparation for Famous Americans. Your Amelia Earhardt was great; did you have a microphone on her? I wonder how a mic would help to hear her better and eliminate some of the background noise. Of course, Famous Americans is a very noisy night. Great job.
