4. Google Calendar
1. I have heard that we are using Google Calendars next in 2009-10. How does this affect me?
1. We are piloting using Google Calendars for pacing plans and some other calendars. Teachers will be notified which calendars are changing. Teachers would need to re-subscribe to these calendars. The subscribing process is exactly the same as before. There are some new advantages, though:
1. Staff can also subscribe using Google Calendar and be able to see all calendars on the web.
2. Calendars created with Google Calendar can assigned editing rights, so that multiple people can edit the same calendar.
1. Do I need a Google account to subscribe to these calendars?
1. No, you can subscribe to any publicly shared calendar using iCal, Sunbird, a well as Google.
