Pilot Use - at the Dec meeting you will get one iPod touch. This will give you some time to experiment with its use prior to the full roll out.
While you have your iPod touch you can try using it as a teacher tool as well as a student tool. It can be synced to any computer at this point, but when they are set up for the classroom, it needs to be a school computer that it is synced to. We will give more guidelines at the Jan meeting.
Roll Out - at the January meeting we will be issuing remaining equipment (mics, chargers, headphones, speakers, iTunes giftcard etc., HOPEFULLY). We will be looking at recommended
- set up review (process & naming conventions)
- management
- applications
- uses and projects
You will need
- to choose one computer to sync all of the iPods with.
- make sure that iTunes library has school appropriate content on it
- an iTunes account set up to purchase applications for your iPods
