Lunch Routine Change: Please let students know that we are trying out an new lunch routine next week beginning on Monday, Aug. 29. Students will play first and eat after playing. They will need to listen for a
whistle and look for a flag that will indicate which grade level is being called in to lineup to get their food.
The routine will look as follows:

Playing first and eating after playing has shown benefits at Pioneer as well as other school. Students eat more
and throw away less food, there is a decrease of discipline issues, and an increase of instructional time. Let’s
see how it works for Farr!
From Tech/Media Services: Due to vacant positions and elimination of positions, the Technology and Media
Services Dept. is moving to more of a "roving," centralized SCT model this year. SCTs will be assigned to sites initially to get everything connected for the beginning of the year. After 8/22, ALL web helpdesk tickets will route
to the District Help Desk, where they will be assigned to a technician accordingly and fixed remotely if possible. School Computer Technicians will be scheduled to visit the sites for tickets that cannot be fixed remotely
