Musical Donation to Glen
View School
Girl Scout Keri Downs earned her Gold Award by providing
musical instruments to Peggy Jacobs' band class at Glen View
School recently. Downs, who plays in the Westview High School
band drum line, obtained the instruments, which included
two drums, drumsticks, and percussion instruments, through
bidding on e-Bay and donations from local music stores. Downs'
mother, Sue, who also was a member of her high school band,
helped purchase the instruments on e-Bay for donation to
the school.
